Welcome to 3DPrintIn. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products and services from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. About Us
3DPrintIn (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides 3D printing services, custom manufacturing and the sale of 3D printing-related products and accessories.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:
- Products are unavailable.
- Pricing errors have occurred.
- Customer-supplied files cannot be manufactured safely or reliably.
- The submitted design appears to infringe intellectual property rights.
- We reasonably believe an order is fraudulent or unlawful.
An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance. A contract is formed when we accept your order and begin processing it.
3. Prices & Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
Payment is required in full before production or dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice, although confirmed orders will not be affected.
4. Stock Products
Standard stock items are supplied subject to availability.
Product images are for illustration purposes only. Colours and appearance may vary slightly from those displayed on different screens.
5. Custom & Made-to-Order Products
Custom manufactured products are produced specifically to your requirements.
Production begins once your order has been accepted.
As these products are bespoke, they are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations once production has commenced.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
6. Customer-Supplied Files
When submitting STL, STEP, OBJ or other CAD files, you confirm that:
- You own the design or have permission to use it.
- The design does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights.
- The dimensions and specifications are correct.
- The design is suitable for its intended application.
We manufacture customer files as supplied and do not routinely redesign, repair or validate customer models.
7. Manufacturing Tolerances
3D printing is an additive manufacturing process and naturally produces:
- Visible layer lines
- Minor surface marks
- Small dimensional tolerances
- Slight colour variations between production batches
These characteristics are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.
8. Engineering & Product Suitability
Unless expressly agreed in writing, products supplied by 3DPrintIn are not certified for:
- Medical use
- Aerospace applications
- Automotive safety systems
- Structural engineering
- Life-support or safety-critical equipment
Customers are responsible for testing and confirming the suitability of printed parts for their intended use.
9. Intellectual Property
All customer designs remain the property of the customer or their respective rights holder.
By submitting files, you grant us permission to use those files solely for manufacturing your order.
We will not reproduce, distribute or use customer designs for any other purpose without permission unless required by law.
10. Delivery
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Ownership of the goods remains with us until payment has been received in full.
11. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Returns Policy.
Customers should read that policy before placing an order.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- We are not responsible for losses arising from the use of customer-supplied designs.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that order, except where the law provides otherwise.
13. Website Information
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, pricing and website content are accurate.
However, errors may occasionally occur, and we reserve the right to correct them without prior notice.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, industrial disputes, transport disruption, power failures, supplier delays or government action.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
