Customer Design & 3D Printing Disclaimer

By submitting a design or 3D model for printing, you confirm that:

  • You own the design or have permission from the rights holder to have it manufactured.
  • The design does not infringe any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights.
  • You accept responsibility for the accuracy of all files submitted, including dimensions, tolerances and intended function.
  • You understand that 3DPrintIn does not provide engineering approval or certify the suitability of customer-supplied designs unless specifically agreed in writing.

Print Quality

We manufacture parts using additive manufacturing (3D printing). While every effort is made to produce high-quality parts, the following are normal characteristics of the process and are not considered defects:

  • Visible layer lines
  • Minor surface imperfections
  • Slight colour variation between material batches
  • Small dimensional tolerances
  • Minor support removal marks where applicable

Functional Parts

Unless specifically agreed in writing, parts supplied by 3DPrintIn are not certified for safety-critical, medical, aerospace, automotive, structural or life-support applications.

Customers are responsible for testing and validating printed parts before use in any application.

Customer-Supplied Files

We print customer files largely as supplied and do not routinely inspect every model for:

  • Structural strength
  • Mechanical performance
  • Correct fit
  • Printability
  • Compliance with applicable standards

If we identify an obvious issue before printing, we may contact you, but we are under no obligation to redesign, repair or modify customer files.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in customer-supplied designs remain the property of the customer or their respective owner.

By submitting files, you grant 3DPrintIn permission to use those files solely for the purpose of manufacturing your order.

We will not sell, distribute or reproduce your designs for any other purpose without your permission unless required by law.

Refusal of Service

3DPrintIn reserves the right to refuse any order that:

  • Appears to infringe intellectual property rights.
  • Contains offensive, unlawful or prohibited content.
  • Cannot be manufactured safely or reliably.
  • Falls outside our manufacturing capabilities.
